I am continuously striving to grow beyond my horizons, whether emotional, spiritual or artistic.
Being fascinated by psychology, philosophy and theology, and studying these subjects, as well as the art and lives
of the great art masters, not only influences my perception on life, but has a definite impact on my art as well.
Therefore as I paint from the heart, it would only be natural that symbolism and spiritualism find themselves
rooted in my work. I am also very susceptible to my surroundings, hence the strong emotional component in my
work.The warm South African sun I am exposed to, inspires bold and vibrant colouring, each painting a delightful
journey.
