I think that life of everyone is his/her own ‘small history’. So, experience of life always is meaningful and precious and introspection for a moment is meaningful also.

The large flow of my works is a consideration on the small history, human life, and in the center of the consideration, the present exists always. The present is a continuity of moments and the continuity of moments is life.

It is the beginning of my philosophy that limitation of life makes the life richer indeed. Therefore, I intend to talk about staying alive through my paintings continuously. In addition, it is an effort to exist soundly at a moment. In other words, it is an effort for ‘true freedom’.

There is no fixed subject matters in my works. Everything I feel, see, and consider may become the subject material for my works and there are considerations on moments, time for existence, and lives in the center of it.

Regulations and material discrimination has no meaning for me. And I wish to face to the work without affectation, and I think it important to draw paintings expressing my thought and emotion abundantly.

I ask a lot of question and get their answers through works. My work is communication toward the world, as well as me.
